Standard Method for Measuring Floor Area in Industrial Buildings
BOMA International and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) are proud to offer their joint Standard Method for Measuring Floor Area in Industrial Buildings. Complementing BOMA's market leading office measurement standard, this new work is designed to fully and fairly account for space in industrial structures. Providing maximum flexibility, users can choose one of two dominant methodologies observed in North America - Exterior Wall or Drip Line - depending on their specific building configuration. This standard also aids with properly allocating space expenses to end users and enables true comparisons across structures on occupancy rates, benchmarking, and cost trending. The member price is $26.25 and the list price is $36.75. The order number is #234-IFMS04-959.

Functional Accounting Guide and Chart of Accounts for Industrial Properties
This publication represents the best and most prevalent accounting practices in the industry today and is applicable to all real estate companies regardless of company size or ownership structure. The guide will enable property professionals to compare their income and expense line items on an "apples to apples" basis. It will also serve a much broader function by including those accounts needed to recognize such items as current and long-term assets and liabilities; depreciation of assets; amortization of soft costs such as leasing expenses; transactions associated with property financing; and balance sheet accounts. The member price is $36.75 and the list price is $57.75. The order number is #226-INDCHRT-843.
